About Us
We are a heavy metal band from Mill Bay BC Canada and small town on Vancouver Island out side British Columbia’s Provincial Capital of Victoria. Our name comes from the latin word Insulam meaning Island. 
Born in Edmonton Alberta Jake moved to Vancouver island in 2008 at age 12 and Started playing Guitar in 11th grade and began composing music in his early 20s. His main influences are RUSH, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Counterparts, ADTR, Gojira, Gulch, Alice in Chains and many others. When not playing Guitar and riffing away, he enjoys playing Hockey, Baseball, Fishing and Working out and is an avid traveller.

Chris is 23 years old and has been playing drums for almost 19 years. His main influences included A Day to Remember, Dream Theater, Epica, and Obliviscarus, and Sleep Token.Kyler tyson: Bass
